Power Instrument On and Off

Do not connect or disconnect cables when the instrument is powered ON.

The AutoChem III does not have a power switch. To power the instrument on or off, the instrument must be connected to or disconnected from the power source. The blue LED light on the front panel indicates power has been applied to the instrument.

When the system is powered on for the first time or after a period of non-use, allow it to warm up for at least three hours before analyses. During this time, a purge carrier gas (such as helium or nitrogen) should be flowed through the system at about 50 cm3/min. The heat zones should be set at 110 °C.
